Today’s large, striking crochet mandala comes from Lydia of Tangled in Yarn Crochet. She writes:
“Wink, you’re a star in the night’s sky now, be at peace.”
That sentiment is reiterated in the mandala itself, which has a bold star in the center of sky-inspired colors.
These crochet mandalas are both made using the free crochet mandala pattern for Wink’s standard 12-round mandala. I love how these two together show that the color choices can make the same pattern look completely different. One is rainbow hued with ombre effects; the other is a lemon-lime citrus combo. Both are beautiful.
This beautiful crochet mandala was made by Divina Rocco for Wink using color inspiration from “My Many Colored Days” by Dr. Seuss.
These two lovely crochet mandalas are each worked in what looks to be a combination of variegated yarn and solids in orange and white. I love the combination. It looks like citrus and sunflowers to me. And it looks like it would bring beautiful sunny inspiration as a kitchen display; but that might be because these are the colors that I’ve decorated my own kitchen in!
This beautiful openwork mandala is Wink’s crochet mandala pattern called The Lazy Shade of Winter. We’ve also seen this pattern recently from Treble Stitch and previously from Katy.
Today we look at a beautiful crochet mandala for Marinke made by Annie who shares some great thoughts. We also look at WRAP, a wellness plan that I’ve found super helpful in living with depression and preventing major relapse.
This love crochet contribution to Mandalas for Marinke is an openwork crochet mandala made with cotton yarn. It makes great use of chain stitches in the design. And I love the color choices here, which remind me a little bit of the desert or the beach in a storm – the whites and browns of the sand and the whites, greys and blues of the sky.
These two crochet mandalas come from Sarah Hannis of @classybird28 where we learn that she’s a “tea drinking, cake baking, crocheting, crafty mum (and grand mum) who enjoys gardening and loves Dr. Who.
