The book for this project has been released! It is a full-color 8.5″ x 11″ paperback book. It is available through Createspace as well as through Amazon. I realize that it’s a little bit pricey; I want you to know that I priced it as low as was allowed by the publisher – the cost is due to the fact that it is a full color creation with over 200 pages. I didn’t want to leave anything out just to make it less expensive.
The main portion of the book consists of images of the mandalas, including full images, partial images and collages, alongside quotes and stories from many of the letters that you sent in with your contributions. Additionally, the book includes:
– Introduction to the project
– Wink’s story from Crochet Saved My Life
– A little bit about the symbolism of mandalas
– A little bit about depression
– What a depression relapse looked like for me
– How I felt about the process of this project
– Lots of resources, collected during the blogging portion of the project
It is my intention to release two additional versions of this book in 2018. One will be a high-end hardcover copy of the book for people who want superb quality. The other will be a more affordable digital version for Kindle. I do not have a release date for either of those options yet.
