Today’s terrific contribution to Mandalas for Marinke comes from Patricia of DaniellaJoe. She has sent two stunning, textured, layered crochet mandalas, one in regular yarn and the other in fabric yarn. Both are beautiful.
DaniellaJoe shares on Instagram:
“I am an aspiring extreme crochet artist, I love everything crochet.. follow me on my journey as I blog about it ..Crochet Rocks!”
These two mandalas are great examples of her craft.
She writes for this project:
“I am wishing to bring awareness to Depression
… You Are Not Alone …
Hugs!”
She shared in her blog post about Wink’s death:
“I would like to say: if you feel that you are depressed and think you need help to kick depression to the curb, then please reach out to one person or a group of people or a doctor and don’t be ashamed to ask for help.
Life is difficult at times, but we should know that bad times will pass.
I will admit that I don’t suffer from depression but it is only because I stay away from what triggers it.
Each person has their own unique triggers, and it is important to identify them.
Let me share with you what my triggers are: 1- the horrible daily news 2- a sedentary lifestyle 3- no sunlight for days.
When I don’t take the steps to correct these triggers I can literally feel myself descending…
And I try to stay grateful, none of us have the “Perfect Life” because that life does not exist, so be thankful for the little things in life.”
