This contribution to Mandalas for Marinke comes from Susan who says, “I am a wife of 34 years, mother of two amazing sons, granny to Noah and Julia, Montessori teacher, and longtime crocheter who loves to make stuff and give it away.”
She adds,
“Unfortunately I had not heard of Wink until reading about her in the Interweave Fall issue. I decided to contribute because the loss of a loved one through suicide is always such a terrible loss to all.
I chose variegated yarn with beads to represent the ups and downs, light and darkness, shade and sparkles, that are a part of depression.
Having read Wink’s blog now – she seemed like such an awesome individual – she will be missed greatly by all she touched!
