It was over one year ago that I launched the Mandalas for Marinke project to honor the work and life of Marinke Slump from A Creative Being and to raise awareness about depression and mental health issues. As of yesterday, all of the individual submissions have been posted. A HUGE thanks to everyone who participated in this amazing collaboration of creativity. Finally, there’s a post showing some mandalas that got a little mixed up in the uploading process (with my huge apologies) and whose makers aren’t clear. A few of these have been identified and the post reflects these updates. Some of these are still seeking their makers if those people want to be identified publicly!
I am currently organizing all of the work into an art book. There’s a learning curve for me with photo layout so it’s taking a little bit of time but I love the process of learning and consider it an honor to be doing this work. I am also searching for the right place to lay all of the mandalas out together to get photographs of the entire set. And I am working on submissions to art shows to get these on display. One step at a time.
