Svetlana, the crochet designer from @crochet_off, has created this new mini mandala free crochet pattern. She has named this pattern Gzhel and she has created it in tribute to Wink. The pattern is written in US terms and comes with a crochet symbol chart.
The free crochet mandala pattern can be found in four consecutive posts on Svetlana’s Instagram page, starting here. You’ll also find a link to the crochet pattern on Dropbox via a link shared here on Instagram. Svetlana apologizes for any errors in the pattern that are related to English translation issues and has offered to fix any that arise if you let her know about them. With the written pattern, the photos and the crochet chart, it should still be workable.
Svetlana used DORA yarn by Madame Tricote Paris 100% acrylic, 250mt/100gr and a 3.0mm crochet hook when working on her own mini mandala.
Here’s a reminder that Pink Mambo also created a free mini mandala crochet pattern in honor of Wink. And also a reminder that mini mandalas are still being accepted as part of the Mandalas for Marinke project, to be handed out to people in need to show support and care through handcrafted love.
Here are some of the mini mandalas that have featured in the Mandalas for Marinke project so far:
Anonymously contributed mini mandala (center piece only, pictured above; it’s a stand alone mandala sitting atop the larger contribution)
Pamela’s thread crochet mini mandalas and tiny crochet hearts
Linda’s mini crochet mandala for Wink (and Sammy)
Karen’s floral crochet mini mandalas
Sarah’s three thread crochet mandalas
DiAnna’s Crochet Mandalas for Marinke including mini mandalas
Fran’s crochet mandalas including mini mandalas and message hearts
Crochet mandalas from The Crochet Guild of Puget Sound including mini mandalas
I’m loving seeing all these gorgeous mandalas! I may have to make a mandala with white and purples now.
I will make one too. I am still learning about mandala, because it’s absolutely stunning.
