Ruby Jane’s Lane contributed six beautiful crochet mandalas, each one more special than the next. I could say lots about why I like them but I’ll just let their photos speak for themselves.
This is Wink’s standard 12 round crochet mandala pattern. I love the progression of the colors, with a different color on each round, coming together at the end with the rainbow variegated yarn for the border.
These two crochet mandalas came together with special love from the maker for the I Love Holland pattern by Wink.
Today is the first day of the 25th annual Mental Illness Awareness Week. The theme this year is building a movement around being stigma-free.
Crafter Jodie writes: “My contribution is a variation on Wink’s “I Love Holland” crochet mandala pattern, which she made to celebrate the coronation of King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands.
Crafter Jenny says: “These two mandalas, Wink’s designs, represent a small tribute from my crochet group here in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, UK. Several of my ladies have found their knitting and crochet has helped them through difficult times.
These great crochet mandalas come from Linda in Indiana who says: “I am new to crochet, having just learned from a friend in March. I found Wink’s blog and book almost immediately. I am deeply saddened by what has happened. Wink is a great inspiration to everyone. I say is, not was, as her work will carry on forever with her patterns and blog.”
